A Creative Journey from Carissa's pov.

Carissa Muse began creating B.Y.D with the artistic discovery of what she found in herself. She feels the message of power, truth and life needs to be addressed more and stand's firmly on using her platforms and music to "make people feel something" as she often quotes.

This EP is a story of conquering and overcoming. With a mix of hip-hop, r&b, neo soul, and indie vibes, Carissa feels the EP is truly about achieving more than you can imagine. Dreaming bigger and finding purpose in creation, while surrendering to divine timing and the will of God.

B.Y.D is set to be released with single "Butterfly Wings" (available February 1st 2022) on February 23rd 2022, her 22nd birthday.

She plans on performing songs from the EP LIVE locally, around the state of NY and online, using a live stream singing platform called Sessions Live. Dates are not yet announced.
